About the Candidate
Zusy grew up in the DC suburbs with her six siblings and is the child of a nurse/writer and journalist. Zusy moved to Cambridge 30 years ago and has worked to build community since. She led the revitalization of Magazine Beach, co-launched the restoration of St. Augustine’s African-Orthodox Church, and has been a longtime advocate for open space, native plants and the arts.
A former museum curator, Zusy brings research, writing, and project direction skills to the Council.
