Quick Facts

From the Candidate’s Website

Wilson and her two younger sisters were raised by a single Jamaican immigrant parent in the Jefferson Park Public Housing Development. Through this experience, she witnessed first hand the socioeconomic barriers that families face. Wilson attended Cambridge Public Schools, graduated from Cambridge Rindge and Latin, then received Bachelor and a Masters degrees in Social Work from Wheelock College.

After 20 years of service in human services and youth work, Wilson ran for and was elected to Cambridge School Committee in 2019.

I have had the honor and privilege to serve our community through the School Committee and City Council for the past six years. Now, I am running for re-election on the City Council! I knew that I wanted to devote my life to serving Cambridge.
