I immigrated to the United States from Pakistan when I was four years old. I grew up on food stamps and Medicaid. I was lucky enough to get a full scholarship to MIT, where I studied sustainable energy. Serving as an EMT in Cambridge, I have helped residents at their most vulnerable.

During my first term, I focused on issues of housing affordability, public safety, the climate, & universal pre-k.
