About the Candidate
Weinstein studied school reform and teacher leadership while earning a masters degree Harvard Graduate School of Education. Afterwards, he began his career in education as a teacher in public schools, teaching high school English and K-12 art. He has also as a substitute teacher at the New York School for the Deaf.
In addition to his work as an educator, Weinstein has worked in communications and program management for more than 20 years in education-focused nonprofit organizations and at Brandeis University.
As a parent, former public school teacher, and scholar of education, I have experience with the important issues from many angles. I promise to continue engaging with the families of Cambridge and using my experience to increase opportunities for all of our children.
